Allcare Medical tailors its services to each hospice account differently. Each hospice agency has a slightly different approach and expectations that must be met. Our job is to understand each hospice organization thoroughly and embrace its mission and vision for patient care. Through detailed communication and customization of our services we ensure that the best possible experience for the patient and family members is achieved.
The staff that we hire, the equipment we purchase, the technology we implement, the policies and procedures we follow – have all been selected and developed with one goal in mind: To best fit the needs of hospice patients. Without any other distractions or conflicting priorities, we concentrate all our attention on our hospice clients.
Many of the individuals we have the privilege of serving have limited or no experience with durable medical equipment. This can be a stressful situation for the patient, caregiver, and family. We do everything possible to make the patient comfortable and at ease. If a patient is bed bound, for example, we kneel or place our body weight on a bent knee so that we are on the same eye level with the patient. We are guests in our patient’s homes and we act accordingly. The body positioning, the tone of voice, the eye contact, and the words we choose are all very important to provide the patient/caregiver with the best service experience possible. Our ultimate goal is to deliver not only medical equipment, but also smiles.
